Default RSX-S Shift Knob??

Anyone consider the 6-sp RSX-S shift knob for the S2K, and would it fit? Looks like it has integrated leather, so maybe not HOT like the stock knob!

What do you guys think?

Don't know what kind of threading issues there would be, but it's a pretty sweet knob.

It looks good, but I don't think I would want it in the S2k......it was designed for the RSX.

Just my opinion

In all honesty, I've never been completely satisfied with the shift knob that was specially designed for the S2K. The look of it is sharp, but it's just not practical because of the heat that it absorbs. Also, I would have prefered to have an integrated shift boot that doesn't slip down all the time.

I thought about doing that myself, but after test-driving the RSX-S, I found its shift knob is not nearly as impressive in reality as it is in pictures.

The leather look-alike is actually hard plastic. It's (too) light -- the whole thing is plastic -- and its overall quality is cheap.

I don't like it anymore.

My $.02
