No, honda scrapped the NSX project to make a fully functioning A.I. programmed multi-function robot that can simulate life-like human movements. They're calling it the T-1000. Honda's new version of ASIMO except this one will be use for military purposes and eventually take over the world.
honda did scrap it. and the "new" asimo is not for military purposes... pearl harbor anyone???

Actually you are all wrong, the new S3500 will sport a 3.5L V8, rated at 650HP+ that rev's to 10,300rpms. Sources at HPD say the motor is currently being tested in the Indy Racing League with great success.
what are you thinking???? v8? uhh never!...

I say bring back the CRX to combat the lotus elise.
very lightweight with a 1.8 and similar to the S2000 engines capabilities that redlines to 9000rpm.
Horsepower? well, genuises you guys do the math.
A super pocket rocket for around 25 grand.

POSSIBLE?

Haha just kidding nastinupe.

Damn - It took me 5 minutes to stop laughing.

Thank you for adding some validity to this thread. I head about this is on an auto show on Spike TV last weekend. They specifically mentioned the HSC Concept being scraped and a less expensive (<$50k) sports car being considered.

I know that there is a lot of BS out there, but I hope you people realize that we don't know EVERYTHING that goes on within the confines of Honda. There is always going to be speculation and rumors, however, what makes one rumor stronger than another is hearing about it from different sources. Automobile magazine and a nationally brocasted tv show have made this "hint" about Honda building this car. That's two decent sources. I haven't even checked TOV.

That's why I started this thread in the first place, to see if people have heard about this development from any other reliable sources. Now there are two. So this thread served its' purpose, admist the pictures of elephant feces and smart ass wanna be flames.

According to VTEC.net this rumor was debunked over a week ago: http://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?news_item_id=242677

"While it is still too early to provide details on the next NSX, we can say that we are committed to the model and will ultimately offer a replacement. The HSC shown in Detroit and Tokyo was a concept of the direction the next NSX could take." -- someone in Acura PR
