Default 'S' Badge Interest

I have been trying to design an 'S' Badge that mimics the characteristics of the stock 'H' badge; that is, it has a little frame with the curvy 'S' inside. This badge would not be solid; it would have openings between the 'S' and the frame. The company I have been in contact with on this can manufacture the badge from aluminum, and can then chrome the badge in high polish or black chrome, can anodize the aluminum in red, blue, yellow, black, etc., or can leave the aluminum with a brushed finish.

I would need to be able to make at least ten of a color to be able to get the price low enough to be within reason. I don't yet know how much this will cost, I need to do some more work on the project before I can start an estimate. I have been putting off the project because it was too expensive to create a one off just for me.

That would be awesome in the same finish as the stock H one, as long as it was the same size as the factory one. Also the 2 pegs that go in the bumper might be an issue, have you looked at where the holes in the bumper are in respect to your design to make sure it will cover them??

No interest here (although I'm probably the minority). Honda did a fine job with the styling from the factory, no need for me to deface it.

the bumper points are low on the badge, I wasn't sure where they were exactly until I changed out my rear badge for a black chrome one. I will design the badge to cover those two holes, shouldn't be too difficult since the 'S' is thicker near the bottom anyway. Giv eme some time to work on this and I will post a photoshopped version.

Not to poo-poo your idea but......

Hides the holes and has the added benefit of being just a bit smaller than the "H", doesn't have ANY infringement potential and is a stock part

Nice! How did you obtain that part and how easy was it to install in the same location?

I've never done external mods, and I would hate to mess up the beauty which is this cars exterior.

That is just the S from a set of black chrome badges. You can get them from Hard Top guy. It is just held on by double sided tape.

Getting the old badge off would be the hard part.

I applaud the idea. It sounds like it would be cool with the frame around it like the stock badge. I like mine shaved off completely, or else I would be interested.

Actually it's the "S" that came off the side when I removed them and yes you could use double sided tape, I used emblem adhesive. I put one from one side on the front and the other on the back.

The front and rear badges aren't nearly as hard to remove as people would make it seem.
