S badges installed - a few pics and thoughts
Just got my new S badges and went right out to put them on. I took a few pics as well. I took most pics from a wider angle as some had requested. Sorry about the lighting in the pics, but I was in a hurry to get the car on the road and laugh at the people trying to figure out 'whats that S car?".

A few thoughts :
1) It is true. Pictures do the badges no justice. They look grrrrreat in person.
2) The two toughest parts of installation were getting the goo from the OEM badge off and getting the plugs out of the holes after removing the rear badge. They are tough to get to from the inside to 'pop out' and they are in there tight. I simply used needle nosed pliars and pulled them out from the outside.
3) Probably not reccomended by Rick, but I left just enough 'goo' from the old badge so I could see the outline of it. It made lining up the S badge easier than judging using only a strip of masking tape. Also, the S badges are slightly larger than the originals so they will cover any remaining 'goo'.
4) Overall I am very happy. At first I wasnt sure about the silver on black badges on my silver stook, but they look great. Also - I am pleased by the proffesionalism shown by Rick and his partner James. Even though it was a small order, I can tell that these guys care about everything they attach their name to. Thanks guys!
