Some things in life just don't get old, that post is one of them!!!
I copied that out of the original thread, added the author (thanks Beig!) and put it up in my office.

As an active BMW member in my local BMW CCA I get all the crap about "nice car too bad it has no torque blah, blah, blah". I just walk away, and then the next time I go into the office I re-read the article. It is no wonder we are such a dedicated group of enthusiasts! Honda got their Birthday present to me right in my mind!

Welcome again Beig and thanks for that article!

I had this car load full of cute girls one time absolutely SCREAMING as I pulled up to a light and they were all hanging out the window talking to me, OK, well, they were ignoring me, they were looking at the car...when one of them said, "So hotstuff. What does "S" stand for...?! Smooooth?!?"

I said, "Yea, baby..."

OK, they didn't really say hotstuff, but they did ask me that question! The rest is a true story...

I would love to go in and edit to add stuff but that post was made prior to me leaving the forum so I can't get back into it.

And some of us who didn't, appriciate all the new posts even so Also, I'd also have to vote your initial post the best I've read. Some great follow ups as well...made me realize three points:

1. I am always having to remind myself not to late brake so as to not freak out the other drivers (or cause an accident).

2. I have to consiously remind myself to take turns slower in any other car I drive (some scary corners in the Saturn after my first track day!)

3. It's so d&mn drivable that you forget just how exciting it really is. Good think MacWorld and a trip to Canada are in the near future
