I think you should add the "(car)" qualifier to this one, too. There are several motorcycle engines with higher specific output.

I read this somewhere, and thought it was approprate.
"The Honda S2000 is a Ferrari, but built by people who went to college". Something to that effect.

 

Guess what guys, when Ferrari wanted to improve their engines because Honda was winning the races with McLaren; they got the guys from Japan (Honda) after Honda pulled out of F1. And Honda graciously helped.

So it really is reversed. Ferrari IS the Honda of Italy!!!
