has any shops ever matched tirerack prices?.....thanx alot i'm runnin bald in the snow right now

Eh, why don't you just go to the tirerack website and find out? Sears will match the price but add shipping and 7 bucks or something per tire. Also S02's are probably NOT what you want in the snow. Its a summer rated tire for a reason.

Just to give you different price's from local shops near me.
I wrote the prices down on a piece of paper, and have kept it since.

Mavis Discount Tire
rear- 169.99
front- 159.99

A Best Away Tire
rear- 169.99
front- 155.99

House of Tires
rear- 154.99
front- 141.99

Ofcourse, You know which store I ended up getting the tires from.
Theses are great tires, and the s02s don't even work well below 40degress weather!
Don't drive!

P.S - If you get alot of snow, that doesn't melt quickly in your town, I would buy the WS-50's instead. More of an extreme winter tire.
