Ok stupid question comiong up...

How can you tell by looking at a new 02 model if they have the stock s02's on em or not?

Why wouldn't a new one have the stock S-02s?

well I think what I meant to ask is does it actually say S02 on the tire? After ALL the cars Ive seen at looked at I have just never REALLY looked at the tires before and was just curious what I am supposed to see.

besides,,,i told ya it was a stupid question

the treadwear pattern is quite different in the S02 Pole Position tires and the OEM S02's. We used to have some pics to tell the differences in the tires. Pictures will be added to the new FAQ which is coming soon!

The OEM S02's have a designation on them, 89W in the front and 92W in the rear. If you see those designations on the tires you are guaranteed that they are OEM S02's and not some other flavor.

How do you know this? That's a very easy way to tell.

I really need some more S02s, my Dunlops suck.

Is this really true with the number designations?

My dealer just ordered me in TWO new rear S02's. How do I know if they ordered the right ones? Do I need to tell my dealer anything special, or tell them a part number for the OEM S02's?

Please advise.
