haven't tried yet. years ago, I opted to get a Mustang hatchback becauseI couldn't get one cabinet in the coupe model - this one, well, I'll just have to get my GK 200MB combo working again and throw the bass, or guitar and Zoom into a gig bag and throw it in the trunk or passenger seat and hope there is a speaker cabinet that I can utilize. Its pretty easy to haul the minimal head unit.

now...when wakeboarding season comes up (goin in two weeks, btw), I will just throw the wakeboard in the wakeboard bag - in the passenger seat.

In my 4Runner. I'd wrap it in a couple of beach towels, and lay it on the passenger seat.

I carry one of my many babies in the passenger seat and have the keyboardist haul around my Amp and PA Equipment. It works pretty well for me
To tell you the truth I haven't tried to see if any of my hardcases fit in the trunk...I take it, not

I found that it's hard to carry my guitar n the effect in my stook. I just give up the case n lay my guitar on the passenger seat all the time, i put everything else into the small trunk.
I remember a friend of mine tried to lay his bass on my passenger seat but couldnt since that bass was too long that I had to open the top to carry it!

Mindcore:

yea never should we mention about carrying the amp,
I have 4 guitars in total, only the Gibson with the original hard case can barely fit in the truck, the rest r just after market hardcases which r too big to try~

The biggest thing I can get in the car is the hard case for my Taylor acoustic. Seat all the way back, it fits nicely between the floor and dash. If I take either of my electrics, those guys ride shotgun, too.

I haven't tried to put anything in the trunk, music instrument-wise. I guess an amp would fit nicely there, though.

I Guess it would depend on what kinda of amp. I use a Fender Twin and there is no way its making it in the trunk!
God forbid I even try and drop it. You would hear the curse words ring down your streets

I haven't tried this, but there might be space BEHIND the passenger seat if we slide it all the way forward. Then stand the guitar (maybe even in its case) upright. Then there's room on the floor/on the seat for something else.

(I play non-amped acoustic, don't know how much space the "electric" gear would take)

Bass in gig bag in the trunk with other soft bags. Combo amp barely squeezes in in the passenger seat.

Did that a couple of times, then bought second car.
