Unless you do some stupid shit to the S2k it isn't rice. I should know...a few years back I was into modding my 94 Accord after a while I took a step back and told myself I wasn't going try and make a performer out of a family car/econo car ever again. I bought a used Z3 and am currently trying to improve the handling a little bit then get a little more power. If I had the $$$ I'd probably be modding an S2k. The difference lies in what the car was before the mods went into it. A Civic or Accord (no offense they are great cars) are best suited for daily activities and providing a reliable form of transportation. When the stickers and lights and HUGE wheels go on then you've got rice IMHO. However the S2K started as a performance car and as long as you don't start with the glow in the dark sing-a-long badges it will stay that way and should never be considered rice. The end.

Well, everyone has their opinions. Just like folks on this board make their comments about Slomaro's and Rustangs being red neck. The ricers give me more props than basically any other group of individuals. They already know all the numbers on the car and everything. It all comes down to the fact that MOST rice cars are 4 bangers from Japan, although I have seen VW's and Neons joining the group as well. So our car is a 4 banger, and it is made in Japan... literaly. Yes, we are lacking the lego spoiler and Mugen racing stickers and ugly paint jobs and home made ground kits, but we are like the king of the ricers. That's the way they make me feel anyway.

Almost like the Z06 is the king of the musclecars. Z06 owners are always praised by muscle car owners, and the Z06 is a muscle car, but we really don't consider them red neck. It's like the Z06 is the king of the muslce cars, and the S2000 is the king of the ricers. But we aren't actually rice and they aren't actually red neck.

To put it another way, all ricers want their car to do what our car already does, and the red-necks want to get Z06 performance out of their Slomaros

Bottom line - It's a Honda from Japan, land of ricer cars so all our S2000's have a ricer heratige.

If you were so concerned about what other people tought about your car, you should have bought a name like Porsche instead of Honda.

All in all, our cars are badass, badass HONDAs!

ask them what do they mean by rice? Do they even know what they are talking about? what crediblity do they have to even speak about cars. I know quiet a few people pick up other peoples conversation and try to use them to make themself intelligent. But honestly they have no clue what they are talking about. Why not take the time to educate them and shut them up.
I guess they also think nsx is rice and they drive flour(i guess that would be the term for their car).
