Road and Track magazine lists their "road test summary" in each issue-- the August issue lists an 05 S2000 as 0-60 at 5.4 seconds, a 13.9 quarter mile, and a top speed of 156 mph.
no mention of how many clutches they went thru to get these numbers!

you don't have to go through any clutches to get those numbers.

MY00-03 are listed as 5.7, arent they?

MY04+ are listed as 5.4

You shouldn't get too worked up about such differences in "listed" numbers. Time can vary with the driver who performed the test, the tire pressures at the time, the temperature of the air and pavement at the time and the altitude the test was done and the type of asphalt on the test track, not to mention the calibration of the equipment used. To actually think that the difference of 0.3 seconds between one MY of car to another is significant is pure fantasy.

Hm, so all S2000's driven by the same driver in the same location at the same time should have the same 0-60 time?
