Only if you need more space or more than 2 seats.
But if you need more storage space and more than 2 seats, you're probably not looking for an S2000 anyway.
For me, I can borrow the girlfriend's car if I ever need more room for luggage or passengers.

My 2 big complaints are 1. Cup holder. Only 1 and a crappy location. 2. Cell phone. The car should come with some kind of cell phone holder up on the dash. I mean hell. Look how much empty dash we have. The weird part for me... I don't like gluing stuff onto my cars, so I just leave the big empty dash big and empty.. Go figure.
Obviously the S2000 was not designed to be a practical car, and there shouldn't really be any complaints about it. If you want something with more than 2 seats and luggage space, there's always the Accord. I must concur with Legal Bill, however, in regards to the cup holder...

Complaints? None.
I looked at buying a number of different vehicles before settling on the S2000. A 911, Pilot, Element, Boxster, LS400.
In the end, I realized that the great majority of my driving would be commuting to work, and taking out of town trips alone, or rarely with a passenger. The S2000 has helped me simplify my life. I went through a huge downsizing this year. Broke up with ex, moved from huge home to modest apartment, tossed out all my furniture, ditched most of my clothes, etc. The S2000 has uncluttered a major portion of my life for me.
As for luggage, look how much crap the average person takes on the road for a trip. In truth, you rarely need much more than a couple pairs of pants, a couple pairs of shoes, undies (for most of us), some shirts, and toiletries. I travel 2-3 weekends a month and I Can pack a weekend bag in 10 minutes. I can fit 4 of those in the Honda with spare room.
I am 5'11 and 240#. I find the car very comfortable. I have two road trips under my belt in the past couple months, and the car has been wonderful. Not too loud, not too small, not too firm, just right. Reminds me of when I bought my BMW. An absolute delight that gets very good gas mileage.
The cup holder situation was irritating at work, but consider that until VERY recently, BMW refused to put ANY cupholders in any of it's vehicles, noting that if you wanted to eat or drink, you should stop and do so, not do it while driving. I tend to agree for the most part. I generally keep a small bottle of water handy for quick splashes and it does the trick.
Cell phone holder would be a nice addition. But it's one that really doesn't bug me too much. Unless you are using a headset, it's pretty hard to talk on the phone in a convertible, 6-speed, sports car. The addition of a small cell-phone holder won't really degrade vehicle value and is quite practical. I might have to look into one myself when I change phones.

I have absolutely no complaints about this car.
I bought it to drive fast & furious.
This car was not meant to be practical
It's designed to be driven with the driver's full attention.
You shouldn't be eating, drinking or talking on the phone while driving this car.
If you drive this car fast, like a sports car should be, you will wind up in an accident if your doing anything else!
