S2000 Or 350z

Like you, I had previously order a Z (Performance package), but cancel my order when it came out. Two years ago, I had a chance to buy an '01 S2000, but since I opted to buy a house, I couldn't afford both at that time.
I have not driven a Z, but the tire feathering is a concern. I personally love the s2000 for its convertible (live in So Cal).
I think the best bargin is the S2000 '02. They can be had around here for 25-27k. In fact, I saw an '03 for 27k. I am waiting for 2 more months so I can save up.

BTW, I love my S2000, convertible is so nice and if you like getting noticed, get the S!!!

The 350-Z is butt ugly in my opinion, and the convertible is so FUGLY!
I was quite disapointed when i saw one for the first time in person. Best advice>>> Drive both, then come to your own conclusion.

If it's convertible vs. convertible, get the S2000.
Otherwise, as has been said, it's up in the air.
As for all the "why would you post that here?" comments, I say "what better place to post it?". Obviously he wants to get opinions from people who know about the S2000. I presume that he also posted the same question at my350z to get Z owners' opinions.

I think you really cant go wrong with either one , there both in the same price range and I heard the 350z can handle pretty good ( not as good as the S ) but it makes up for it in the performance dept! Both get H. I. D.'s , 6spd.. ect... both are nice cars.

you know, the pro's about the Z is they are developing twin turbos for the Z, either a turbo twin turbo or even a super charger will make it fly. if your going for speed. its a nice car sweet looking, although theres a lot of yahoos out there that got the base model. If i were you i'd spend the 36K for the package with the brembos and not get the convertible because like everyone said, its ugly...
