way back in 1999 or 2000 i downloaded and watched a Honda made video, perhaps made to introduce the car to the dealership network, with some guy names parker stevens, er something like that...it was a comparision between this new honda and a z4, mercedes slk, and the boxster (not the S). it was narated by this parker guy, he drove the car and comments on how the honda was just better in every way. Anyone ever seen this? anyone have this and can post it ? it would be nice to see this again.

Without the track time at the end of the episode, it's a bit unfair. As I remember it, the S2000 didn't win with the Stig behind the wheel. It's about the driving experience not the time. People don't buy S2000's for the power. In america, a fox body mustang with a crate engine pushing 500 hp is often cheaper than a s2000 in good shape.

 

Thanks, I am familar with the top gear comparrison and enjoy it....not the video i was looking for...perhaps it will never surface again, it was fun though to see this newcommer take on the rest in a honda sponsored comparrision as an intro to the sales staff of the car.
