S2000 article in Hemmings
Nice to see an article on the S in the new issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic magazine.
Two owners comment on their cars, Tom Weidner from Pa, and Michael Moore from Tx.
I wonder if they're on the boards????

It's the latest issue, June 2014. I get the subscription mailed to my house which I believe beats the news stand.
Sometimes the Hemmings blog will feature a car from one of their mags (Muscle Car, Classic Car & Sports Car ). They explain how they photographed it and give the back story.
I was really surprised to see the S2000 in the mag as they usually focus on cars of Europe.

Excerpts:
"With no faster/better replacement, the S2000 is a singular entity, and while it's slipped from the public consciousness, there are still plenty around; enough people who want them that prices won't ever be low-ball."
" ... the s2000 is popular with the Fast & Furious crowd, and any manner of unspeakable modifications may have been made to a particular vehicle several owners down the line. Keep in mind that unless you know (and trust) the owners or shops that made the modifications, caveat emptor ..."
I thought it was a positive article directed towards a mature crowd.
The unanswered question is whether Hemmings covered the car because it perceives the S2000 as a "sports" car or as an "exotic" car. A little bit of both, perhaps.

What is the title of the article? It should be available online now. You can get a free issue for trial by signing up online for the magazine. Heck, even a one-year subscription fee would be worth it to read a six-page article on the S.
Edit: only the May 2014 and older issues are currently online. It looks like you can get an introduction to articles online, but you need to be a paid subscriber to read them entirely. I could be wrong, so I'll keep checking.

It's a buyer's guide. It rehashes what was said about the car back in the day by other magazines - stuff we've all seen before. It describes a little of what is available on the market now with a price guide, and then it has a section on what to look for when buying - engine, body, interior - things like that. Nice pictures.
But I wouldn't necessarily rush out to buy a subscription just to see the article.
