Default S2000 on the Autobahn

Today I had my S2000 on the Autobahn in Germany. Probably for the last time, before my car goes back to the US.

I had a dinner appointment in Basel Switzerland. Drove down from the Netherlands on Saturday and back up today. The S2000 just loved it. 100 mph in four, 125 mph in five but I did not quite get it to 150 mph. There was not enough space. But I kept it above 100 mph wherever there was no speed limit...

The oil gets pretty hot at 266 F, but the water temperature stayed cool at around 190 F. The gearbox oil was 244 F. It was in the 90's, 1100 miles in two days with the top down, I'm fried.

you're driving in the wrong places, i've found plenty of spots where i can hit 154 with room to sit there, and this is on a bone stock ap2.

don't you need an "unlimied liscence " to go a certain speed on the autobahn?

no, there are speed limit signs on the autobahn for 100kmh, 130kmh, and then you hit the beloved white circle with the diaganol slashes through it and your home free to see what you can do, they're pretty good about dropping the speed before any serious turns.

I drove my daughter's TSX in Germany, Austria, and Italy over the Christmas/New Years holiday and the only thing needed was an International Drivers Liciense. I really enjoyed the autostrasa in Italy.
