A couple S2000 mpegs were posted on h-a.net today. Their event was held in the rain. Scroll to the bottom to click either selection with the yellow S2000. The thread said the driver was Bannanie.

Hey Svann, thanks for the mpegs!

Makes me miss all the autocrossing they used to have in Orange County area of southern California -- a few years ago it all disappeared unless I'm blind?

Oh, how funny! So I'm the "chick" now... FYI I'm #198 with the white helmet.

I only got down to a 62 since I was driving sideways, my co-driver Ron (#98, black helmet) got the 59. This was our first time in the new yeller S2K and on street tires...

It should be a law that if it isn't raining, the top's down, and if you're racing there's no reason for the top to be up, regardless of the weather!

It was POURING (for Washington standards) so we put it down on the start line...

AutoX in the rain is challenging! In the last event down here (December) I discovered that the ABS system works just fine while travelling backwards at 50 mph .

Well ... it was a pretty big thrill, and gratifying to find out that the car stopped pretty well even though I had transformed myself into a passenger (in a spin, both feet in, etc.). I also learned about wet weather control limits in the relative safety of the autocross parking lot instead of I95 . It was also meant as kudos to Banannie for getting FTD!!! That's awesome.

I was more proud of the 1st place finish that day (from the last run). Now I'm known as a "mudder" .

no ftd for me, Ron was quicker!

I'm just glad whomever took that tape didn't get the run where I spun!

that event site is where I spun my black one into the brush last Memorial Day weekend and got the name "Off Road Annie"... oh, the memories... Heck, Ron was kind enough to remind EVERYONE at the event that I'd spun that far off road last year! Ouch!

Auto-X is still alive and well in SoCal. The events are usually held at Hollywood Park. Check out http://www.solo2.com for the event schedule. I've been to the last few events and seen only a couple other S2Ks out there.
