Default s2000 boot query

Hi guys,

I'm currently saving up to buy an S2000 (can't wait).

Thing is, I do martial arts and usually take a long stick/staff with me. It currently goes in my Vauxhall from the corner of the passenger foot-well and rests on the back seats.

Now, I realise that the S2000 is a 2 seater but I'm wondering/hoping if there is a gap or hole behind the seats that goes into the boot(?) That way my staff could rest from the front all the way through into the boot.

Just wondered if anyone can help please?

Cheers,
Antony

IN the US versions there is no such opening. I believe that it is the same in the UK

Top down champ, you could definitely fit it in the cabin topless, perhaps even with the top up.

There actually is such an opening. If you remove the spare tire cover (and perhaps the spare tire), you can fit long items diagonally in the trunk.

In addition, there is a vented panel behind the seats that is pretty easy to remove / alter. People cut into that for speaker installation.

If I were in your situation, I'd consider buying a used panel and cutting a hole in it and feeding the staff through the trunk with the spare tire cover removed.

Alternately, you should be able to lay it down in the passenger foot well to the side of the passenger seat.

How long is this staff? My hockey sticks fit no problem.

Taylor Made Drivers fit in the trunk without removing it from the golf bag. Head First.

spare tire cover removal works! I fit a roadsign in the back of the s2k. a pretty big ass one It will fit from the back of the trunk all the way to the back of the passenger seat (driver seat for RHD maybe? idk?)
