Default S2000 Bra

Has anyone bought a bra for the S2000? I have been making a bunch of road trips and the constant threat of a wayward rock plus all the bugs being sacrificed on my front bumper has made me want a bra. If you have, could you tell me the brand, where you got it, cost, and any complaints.

Thanks,
Nix

I have the Colgan and am very satisfied with it now that the strip has been put over the light. When I drive to work, I use highways that frequently have large dirty trucks.

To date, not one mark due to a truck. I remove it on Friday when I get home and put it back on Sunday night.

I purchased it from Top Notch (now out of business I believe) but you can do a search in Yahoo for Colgan and find a dealer. Just make sure it has the 'fix'.

I believe the 'clear bra' being referred to is not like the 'traditional' removable bra. It is a clear film that adheres to the car. I believe there is more than one mfg, Stoneguard is one of them.

I know of three more companies that make "clear bras". There is armourfend, xpel, and stongard. I am pretty sure they all use the same film which is scotchcal from 3M. The only difference is how the templates are cut, and the price. The xpel site has a whole bunch of pictures and information. If you go under the support tab you can see pictures of the product being installed, which may help you to decide whether or not you want to attempt to install it yourself. Xpel gave me a quote of roughly $500 for the film (bumper, hood, and side view mirrors) and $225 to install. From what i can tell, you can't even see the product once it's installed and you can wax right over it.

Do Not Get Stone Guard. You'll regret it.
