I just found it demeaning, the way 03_AP1 was talking about quocisflying's post.

Maybe quocisflying's english is now that well, because its not his first language. Nevertheless, his post is understandable, there was no need to ask for a translation.

Second, the demeaning tone is evidenced in the reference to quocisflying as "that kid".

Just cuz someone lives in America doesn't mean that he/she will speak english fluently.
