Anyone else see that formula red s2000 on that commercial for cheaptickets.com? Funny thing is, I tried to see what they were renting them for on their website, and couldn't seem to find any convertables besides mustangs.

I haven't seen the commercial you're refering to, but there's a place in San Francisco that rents them for $250/day Boxsters (not the 's') are about the same $$.

I think Ferrari's are closer to $1K/day.

For $250 a day, it better come with free gas and a super model/nymphomaniac in the passengers seat!

Nice...it seems as if they only rent out gay cars by me. My friend is interested in renting a manual car to just learn on and practice with for a day, but there's only crap automatics. I'm so in love with the S that I think I would rent it for a day at that rate. Of course, you have to be like 21 or something to do it which annoys me.

More like 25, for most all rental companies. I think Enterprise was one of the few that would go younger. The others make you shell out an additional fee per day for being so young. SUCKS, I remember.

I did see an S for rent at the Budget Rentals in Santa Monica a while ago. Think they wanted $200+ per day.

Oh, and your friend is gonna be hard-pressed to find a manual tranny rental. Too many people who can't drive stick would be excluded, so they have to maximize their inventories. Also, they clutches would get TORN UP, like your friend wants to do by "learning".

A ferrari for $1,000 a day? Hmmm. That would be a hell of a track day. Sounds good.
