Only 7% of total S2000 production per year are made in GPW. The 2002 are the most rare, as it was the only year where the S2000 GPW came with an all red interior. Prior in 2000/2001 it was red/black and 2003 to now its tan.

White is rare because its the Official Japanese racing color. Try finding a "WHITE NSX" Good luck.

GPW is extremely rare and sought after, especially the ones with the red/black interiors (some feel the all-red interior is too much, and the tan interior is too blend). Our cars are now "collectable" because they are so rare.

When I was s2000 shopping I was hunting down NFR at first then I switched wanting a silverstone and found one eventually. NFR is also a hard color to find. Like you already said, most are sebring silver and yellows.

Heh funny, I was actually wanting a black S2000 but I happened to come across an '01 GPW with red/black interior and just couldn't pass it up. Looks awesome!

I absolutely love the color of the interior.

hey...I live in the seattle area too, and I was looking for a GPW S2K as well. After three month of search I ran across only one (in Bellevue), and it was in horrible shape. I found several through autotrader.com in various other states, but I was weary of purchasing a car w/o an actual test drive.

If I were you I'd wait until spring or just go w/ another color. I just picked this one up yesterday cause I simply could not wait...and i can't be happier

thanks for all the replies!

i think i might just have to wait a few months to see if the gpw comes through. I fell in love with the white s2000 when i first saw it. It just looks so clean although i definately wouldnt mind black , maybe red but ive never been to crazy about red cars for some reason.
