The s2000cr is a great track car, but on the straights it's a dog... a 135 and 370z will make short work of it. the caymen i could see walking cr and z but the 135 might be a good race if dinan chiped

Just as footnotes to what the commentaries by the drivers are

Tsuchiya (cayman) : cracking jokes, making vocal throttle blip sounds, saying "oh shit, here comes the new z" and "holy crap I'm fast"

Ara (370z) : comments how the handling is very neutral and understeers very minimally when driven right. he says that it's braking is a bit unstable (even kinoshita comments on this instability when he's behind the z).

Kinoshita (911) : Narrates 370 vs. cayman battle from behind. (From the first part of the video when he's racing around alone) He doesn't like the shifting, how it's opposite of how you would shift up and down on other cars. Car feels more refined and precise, with more power when exitting corners. It does feel like a RR as it is, but is more confident when pushing it to its limit.

Ide (135i) : understeer, understeer, understeer. doesn't turn, (kinoshita even says the same thing when he's behind it)

Hattori (S2k) : Loves how he can keep up and catch up to the pack in corners, but gets left behind in the straightaways.

wow 14.6 seems damn slow. werent people doing mid 13s with the regular S?

Still good to see 10 year old technology being compared to the newer stuff.

that's not really CR.. cr only offers here in US.

that's a type's with the wings and fronts lip like CR we have here, other than the exterior mods, nothing's different , all the performance spec are the same as the regular s2000's..

IE it doesnt have the CR suspension, Tires, or sway bars, stiffiner braces, and retains the softtop.

All it gets is the front and rear wing.

14.6 sec 1/4 mile?
That's terrible... Even though I'm sure I wouldn't have done much better.

Ah i forgot all about that, then its even more impressive how it stayed with those cars or even out performed them on corners.

still an interesting video!
