2700lbs...240hp...twitchy rear end that likes to come around....in the hands of a good drifter, this thing would tear up the track.

*and many,many, sets of S-02s.*

200 RWHP
139 lb/RWT = U can get the tailout but it's too tough to bring is back straight. Not enough torque.

Right, not enough torque.

Do any of the drift competitions even have S2Ks? I don't believe so, but then again I don't go to those either.

There is a video on the forums of an S2K drifting on a track with a 350Z. Looks like the S2K does a pretty good job drifiting - until the 350Z drives into the side of it.

350Z

i would say no...because short wheelbase, twitchy back end, VTEC engagement (not a smooth power curve), not much torque...not the easiest car to drift in.....

Good video! I'd advise against trying this on the street. The S2000 can only be pushed so far, and then you are past the point of no return, and in an uncontrolled slide. It's no fun when there are ditches or hard objects you can smack into.

I guess one mans trash is another mans treasure. I find the S2000 easy to drift. Easy to loose if pushed too hard, but still very easy to drift. NOT as easy as our XJ-40, but easy enough.
