Scotch-Irish My ancestors helped boat General Washington across the Delaware to whip the Brits at Princeton.

As for us older white guys, I think a lot of us have a major nostalgia attack when we see a 69 Camaro or a Shelby Mustang. And the 64 Vet coup - wow! The list of muscle cars goes on and on. That is where a lot of my generation sinks it's spare change for a sports car. Something that brings back the memories of 1/4 mile drag races, with wide-oval tires, four-barrel carbs and hearst shifters. But just think, in 40 years when the newest Fuel-cell, four wheel, independent drive, all electric S200000 roadster from Honda is in the showroom, one or our current 18 year old something S2KI members will remember the "good old days" of Vtec ing the S2000, and struggle to get the younger generation to understand the indescribable sound as you hit 6000 rpm.

I'm a big ol' white farm boy. I wouldn't think there are many owners that fit that description.

I think being a 44-year-old white female driving the car, I probably get the same reaction you black guys are getting -WHATEVER! I autocrossed Sunday at an event where there were 2 other S2000's - one driven by an older white male and one by a Latin almost-teenager. We all spent most of the event together because our love of the car (and racing) knocked down the usual age/culture/gender issues.

I am sure there is more, but it is too difficult to find out. I have had great help from the Irish government on finding roots.

I am a brownie Indian minus the wagging head and strong accent. Been out of India for 10 odd years, 5 of them here.
