All this is some what helpful, but what I am really looking for is the kind of rush that you might get while driving.

It's an experience you could never imagine until you experience it first hand.

I completely agree... I drove one about a year ago when I was broke. Then drove another a couple weeks ago, and realized I could not live without one... Thanks to all the members on this board it has only gotten worse!!!

I will have one before the end of the year, I am still waiting for the MY04 to come out and drop the prices so I can get a really sweet deal.

Good luck and just go drive one, the smile will last for hours (and it is free!!) unlike smiles from other things that you may have to pay for..

Ok ok your looking for a rush are you .Well you can find it with a s2000 that is for sure .What you need to do is drive around in second or third gear just below 6000/rpm and step on it.You'll
get a rush all right. But be warned many people died looking for that rush as well .I traded in a 2001 miata susp pkg for a 03 s
and i went from a nice smile while driving the miata to laughing
while driving the s2000.Yet i'm not sure this interest in the rush is good for you as with all rushes it will get old fast .Then you'll need more and more and back to the dealer you go for more hp more aftermarket stuff and still you need more .Then you hit bottom and your in rehab and in 28 days your out going to meetings .

It gets me from point "A" to point "B". I "rush" only when I am in a hurry.

For me it's somewhere in the canyons on a mountain pass with 15MPH haripins, and major elevation changes.

In the short straight up to redline in 3rd gear (my favorite gear) into a hairpin, brake (little trailbrake) then heel-n-toe downshift into 2nd, squeeze on the go pedal and slightly drift the car around the corner, straighten out, redline 2nd, 3rd and hit 4th, another hairpin repeat for many miles.

This was just 2 weeks ago on the Mountains of West VA. I go back often as possible
