s2000 drop

Exclamation s2000 drop

hey whats the best drop out there for an s2k? just the springs not full coils... and how much should i drop it if its on 17's... i want a nice clean drop.. let me no. thanks.

I've heard Espelir Springs are purdy good, stiff than stock.

What does the "drop" have to do with 17s? It all depends on the width, offset and the size of tires you put on those 17s?

eibach pros do a pretty good job of dropping about an inch with a pretty close to stock ride...

I don't understand what sense it makes to use springs with oem shocks. After a year you will need to replace them anyway with new shocks (most people go with koni yellows) that will end up costing you almost as much as a set of coilovers from the start. Also, your car will not be handling its best with aftermarket springs and stock shocks. Just my opinion though.

I think he means that changing to 17" wheels is going to raise the ride height of the car and possibly make the fender gap larger, hence creating the need to use a shorter spring.

I think this is more of a general inquiry aimed at appearance rather than a specific inquiry at a track setup, etc.
