In my other thread about the VAFC there is a long debate about the worthyness of the VAFC with our ecu. A new portion has come up about the ecu stating that at certain throttle our ecu goes into more of an open loop. Now this may not be fully open, but somewhat. Does anyone know when/if this exactly is? Does the ecu go into open loop at 80%? Therefor tuning your VAFC to only make changes at 80% WOT would not negate the effects over time? I find it hard to believe that no one on this forum knows enough about our ecu to answer this question with hard evidence. Answering with stuff you heard from someone else or what you think is right just leads to debating. Does anyone know, 100% for fact, about our ecu?
