Default S2000 + Element

Hi All-

I was wondering how many of you have an S2000 and an Element. I would not have asked initially but I have seen more than a few pictures on this forum with both cars in the shot. I use the element as my "practical car" and the S2000 as my fun/DD car. I love 'em both and like to keep it in the Honda family.

Is this trend more common than I thought? Or am I just noticing it more because I own both?

I've always wanted to buy an Element but I can't seem to convince the wife to drive one. I'm also hoping Honda releases the SC model with AWD. At that point, I'll get one regardless of whether the wife drives it or not.

I've got an S2k and a Pilot. The Pilot is the wifey's ride, but I use it purely for utility (hauling stuff/people around).

We have a new Insight as my other vehicle - for use when hauling or needing to carry more than two people. My wife drives a new Prius for her business needs (drives everywhere - all over our county).

I used to have an Element. '03 EX AWD. Good car & never had any issues, but so boring to drive.

I do miss the enormous hauling capacity, and it was quite fun to drive on snow covered roads. Towards the end of owning it, I finally was able to figure out just how much throttle to give it to keep the rear end turned on. This made for AWESOME parking lot drift/donuts.

Mine is MY07, wife's is 2008 Civic, ours is a 2003 Odyssey.
Daughter 1: 1994 Acura Integra
Daughter 2: 2001 S2000
Daughter 3: mass transit while in college, wants mini-Cooper.

I just got really sick and tired of the tremendous maintenance costs for Ford, Chevy, and VW, so we dumped all the others.
