Does engine immobilizer really work in S2000s? How does it work and what actually happens when thieves try to hot wire our cars? I always put "brake lock" on everywhere I park just in case. Thanks for any info.

Please do not explain on this open forum how it is defeated. There are always car thieves reading these boards. Thanks for the simple answer.
