I have had stock, tanabe super racing medalion, J's N1, and now spugen single w/ ti tip.

first - Tanabe - Hardly any weight savings, no noticable power difference, pretty good sound.

second - J's N1 - VERY LOUD....even when going from tanabe to J's, its way louder. Noticable power difference over tanabe.

third - Spugen single - Not quite as loud as J's (which is why I got it), but still sounds good. Weighs about 1lb more than J's, no noticable power difference from J's to spugen (feels the same).

The Tanabe Racing Medalion (canisters) weighs 13-lbs lighter than OEM. A nice loss for a dual. Expect 4-6hp gain with a decently designed catback. There is only so many ways you can snake a pipe from the cat to the rear. Anything even remotely well engineered can net you the above gains. Not much more in the tank beyond that save for weight savings.
