I've had the good fortune of being able to tour the Takenezawa plant in Tochigi twice over the years, once in 1999, and again in 2002. Unfortunately, there are no photos allowed inside the actual production facility, so all photos you'll see of the production and assembly areas are official Honda released ones. In fact, in 1999, since the S2000 had not yet been released yet, but was already in production, they were really tight on security, and we had to check our cameras before entering the facility.

 

So I might be there in march, does anyone know who to get ahold of or a number/email?

 

Someone might chime in here, Jonesy, but hey... How about asking Honda to set something up for you? I'd contact Woodwork.
