Can anyone take me by my newbie collar and lead me to the best, better, and bestest S2000 FAQs around?

Well, I kind of started on a S2000 FAQ, but haven't gotten very far. I asked for some input, but no one responded. I got involved in some other stuff and kind of put it aside.

If you click on the FAQ link above, you'll see that a S2000 FAQ is "Coming soon"!

Schatten,

When I last went to the S2KI FAQ section (two days ago) it wasn't worth the trip. A couple of the FAQs came up as blank pages, and some didn't seem to point to the right info.

Don't get me wrong, I like the sight, but it just seems to be having a few bumps lately.

GS,

I'll look at it again when I get home. My net connection was QUITE flaky the past few days, so that could have been it. The background came up with title bar at top and dark grey background, but no info...I'll check again.

if you run across these, its either a connection problem, or you are browsing in netscape and there is something that I have overlooked in the code. I will definately scan through all the files sometime today and clean up what I notice in netscape. thanks for the heads up though. always wanting more feedback on that section of the site.

I have a question, might sound silly, but if a particular page or link is being worked on, and you are in the process of uploading to the server, is there a chance of reaching a dead link? from visitors trying to access that same page?

To my knowledge the site as a whole as been rock solid, it has never gone down for no reason.

All I can say is darn netscape he he

Hondagal - yes, there is that chance, but its very least likely to happen. If you work on the main page, and I hit it while you are uploading, I'll probably hit refresh cause I might just think its my browser or connection acting up or timing out.

I believe it might be a few invalid table cells (either not closed properly or not in proper syntax) that has caused netscape to put up a fit. IE is more forgiving at HTML formatting errors, but is prone to popup errors for VB Scripting crap on me all the time. (client side vbscript is a no-no btw).

I have a thought - sometimes when I click on an internal link at S2Ki, the actual text is below what is visible on the screen. It appears that nothin is there until you scroll down to see it. For example: https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_horn.php
