Default S2000 in freezing weather

My s2000 has been sitting in front of my garage for about 1-2 months not being started. The temperatures have been (-5 to 20 degrees. I finally ordered the spark plugs. Is there any other precautions I should worry about?

Is it necessary to change coils at a certain mileage, or do you change them as they go bad?

Thanks alot

why did you order spark plugs????? was there some other underlying condition???
sounds to me like only the battery should be charged if its been sitting.

????

Dude. s2000 is just like any other car. If the battery is dead give it a jump, otherwise just start it and drive.

Best precaution is to check the oil. Coils don't usually go bad. Mine has 100k on them and are okay. A local member has 132k and still okay. If one goes bad you will get a misfire, than it might be best to replace them all.

Nothing to do with cold weather, but many change fluids once a year unless their driving miles demands it.

May want to consider 0W-30.

Man I had TWO coil pack fails at once on a cold christmas morning (ok 35 degrees, thats cold for Texas). Took me a good couple days to figure out that two had failed and not just one. I was stumped. Too random to not be from the cold.

Sorry, dude, 35 ain't cold. Many, including me, have DD their S in weather much colder than that, without any more issues than any other car.

35 is not even below freezing, so can't even make the case that water somewhere it shouldn't and froze.
