If you really want to see a bunch of people posting irrelevant info then refer to the countless existing insurance threads. If you want to get the best quote then you need to shop around yourself. Looking at what others pay is fairly pointless unless you can account for every variable that factors in and then figure out how that relates to your specific situation. The replies above don't include enough info for a meaningful comparison.

Without the age and sex of the driver, what you posted means nothing, either.

2000 S2000
progressive full coverage
one wreak about 4 years ago
23 years old
single

$121.00 a month

Geico quoted me alittle cheaper but I've been told to stay away from them by several people...

edit- Just rechecked the geico prices.... Should I switch at the end of this term? (might not get the $36 good driver discount depending on when the wreck was)

(Just for the hell of it I will post...(I miss these American insurance prices)

AIU

Japan:

Full Coverage (collision only) (no comprehensive included for theft, natural disaster...)= $800.00/3 months (minimum purchase is 3 months)
Liability: $77.00 per month
Comprehensive: Not sure yet

Also have to have JCI which is renewed every 2 years. (anywhere from $500-$900)

No wrecks, 28 year old and married. Car is insured for 2,000,000 yen or $25,000 USD which is less than resale/market value for a 2005 in Japan.
