Last Friday night, this girl I'm dating called my S2000 a "girlie" car. To make things worse, she thinks the Ford Mustang is more manly than the S2000. When I think of chick cars, the Kia Sportage, Geo Tracker, Hyundai Accent, Chrysler Sebring convertible, and Volkswagen New Beetle and Cabrio come to mind. Not the S2000. And I would say about half the people I see driving Mustangs are females.

I did convince her otherwise with a brief discussion and a small sample of F20C fury (didn't even take it above 6k). Does anybody know the percentage of S2000 owners that are male/female? I have no idea where to look that up.

 

are u ing kidding me? the s2000 isn't a "chick" car... yes, chicks can drive it, but i don't think some guy's girlie when he drives it... i just idolize it

I think most chicks wouldn't prefer the 6 sp manual and the tiny vanity mirror on the s2k. I'm willing to bet more than 90% of s2k owners are male.

S2k is definitely more elegant looking than the Mustang though.

The more important question you have to ponder is whether or not your wasting your time dating a girl with low interest level in you. A girl with high interest level will NEVER complain about your ride even if it's a Civic.

 

You forgot the Miata and the Toyota MR2. Now those are girlie cars, BUT NOT THE S2K.

I've only seen 1-2 S2000 drivers that have been girls. Everybody else has been a male (or at least dresses like one? )

I'm sure there are many trailerpark girls in this country who consider the Mustang to be more manly than an S2000. They're welcome to their opinion.

The fact is as you said, more chicks drive Mustangs than S2000s. End of story.

 

I saw some stats a while back that said something like 80-20 Male to Female drivers. Average age was 42 I believe and income was $70,000

I can't remember where I saw those stats.
