I carry, and usually i tuck the holster under the drivers seat and the spare mag in the secret compartment. Its the worst possible place for it, but I am a larger guy 260lb 6ft and I carry a full size M&P 45 in a Fobus paddle holster and I cant sit comfortable in the seat with the gun on.. My friend told me he ordered some products that are elastic bands that will hold your holster under the seat of the car and can be repositioned for better weapon access. If and When they arrive, I'll do a full writeup on them and how they work with the car. I can't recall the name but ill see if i can find it and post some links to it.

As far as an AR for the trunk goes, if you want something really cool and custom see about contacting MUZ; they have this trunk panel thing that looks like its some Molle Webbing away from being the perfect place to mount a gun. I'm sure if you bought a condor case or something like that and combined it with the MUZ panel or sent it to MUZ they could make sometheing really cool out of it. I think a gun-bag would fit well in to the spare tire area as well.

my inside the waist band holster kills me if I am in the S for more than an hour. I feel like it isn't good for the bolsters either, but I can't really think of a solution.

I'm afraid to leave it under the seat or trunk, when I'm at work. If they slash through the top... that's gone too. But I do carry when anywhere else other than work.

Or hell.. if you're afraid like me, would probably be a good idea to become NRA membership. In that membership, you get a $2500 gun insurance. Just register the gun with them.. you get your money back.

$2,500 of ArmsCare coverage with your NRA membership. This plan covers insured firearms, air guns, bows and arrows against theft, accidental loss, and damage.

Us Canadians are wondering why you need to carry a weapon? Do you have some ex girlfriends out to get you?
