In all fairness, it is much lower to the ground than most cars. The way you have to sit in the seat also means having to work to get out. I don't mind it one bit, but I do notice it and so does my wife and daughter. It's not overly difficult or anything, but it's not super easy either. Just my $.02. Still love the car though!

My wife is 48. We recently took a 6k mile road trip in the S. She had no complaints about comfort.

Age 69 and would agree. My only problem is my knee replacement which limits my ability to bend my right knee. (but it does help keep my let straight and the pedal to the floor once I get in With the top removed, all is good. Once in, the seat and ride is comfortable. I have done 600 mile, 11 hour drives only stopping for fuel and felt just fine at the end.

I tried quite a few, 2 & 4 seaters, even bought a couple, but none really did it for me, until someone suggested I try an S2k. With their smaller door, I had not even tried one, but when I did I'd found my answer. It's the easiest thing worth driving, to get into.

So if your ladies are having trouble, perhaps you could wonder out loud how, if someone as old as me can do it, why can't they? Are they really that OLD & decrepit?

The s2000 is actually doing you a huge favor... any female that whines about something as trivial as getting into a low car is going to be too high-maintenance to be worth your time anyway

In all fairness, if your lady is getting into or out of the car at the curb, ingress and egress is much more difficult, as the door sill is almost the same height as the curb. This is something (as a driver) that you don't experience on your side. Either pull farther away from the curb so she can step out onto the street, or let her out before you park.

But yeah, girls like to complain.

Ha! One of my coworkers complains about this all day. I had an EG before this with non reclinable bucket seats that people really did have a hard time getting out of. It was actually really funny to watch. I just tell my coworkers to stop complaining so damn much or she can drive all the time.

95% of people who ride in my car don't end up going for a second trip. They all say the same things seats are uncomfortable and its loud and obnoxious. I love my car though and I like my seats. Is it them or us that's crazy??
