I bought the expensive book one day while I was strolling through borders and then bought an S2000 2 weeks later. The S2000 depreciated in value. The book appreciated.

I have the expensive one. Bought it used. I think I paid maybe 10 bucks for it. It's in great shape but the previous owner underlined a bunch of the text in it. Too bad.

I have one of the hard cover books as well. They are very nice...small but nice. Honda sales stuff but enough inside history to make for an ok read. Also they are numbered.

Actually the best Honda S2000 book, imho, is the shop manual from Helm.
