Thanks for posting.

This is why I give people flack for cracking up their cars.

We often get guys posting how they cracked up their car because of something stupid they did, asking not to get flamed. Well, I don't have sympathy for them. They are affecting our insurance rates. They deserve to pay for their stupidity. The rest of us don't deserve to pay for their stupidity.

to be honest, it looks like comprehensive statistics are much more to blame for inreased rates than anything else. if honda would only make the s2000 with stuff that doesn't bolt right into 10 year old civics.

If people were paying for their own mistakes, then it wouldn't really be "insurance" now, would it?
