Default S2000 keys

Had a question.

I lost a set of my keys so I need to get a new one cut from a Honda dealership. The 04-06 S2000's have a much 'cooler' looking key (says S2000 on it and it looks smaller) does anybody know if these can be used on pre 04's?

I'd rather get those blanks than the older ones.

Thanks.

Yes, I know. They can NOT be used. The cylinders are completly differant. You would have to change them as well to use the newer keys in an older car. That would add over 400 to get that key to work.

i forgot exactly what you had to do, but the chip in our key doesn't fit in the JDM housing or something like that...you'll need to sand down or dremel down a few plastic pieces to make it fit. I thought about doing this like 2 years ago so I forgot exactly what's involved.

after that, i was told it works just like oem.
