Ok I have a problem here. sorry its long but thanks if you do read it.

I currently own a 01 s2k and having a lot of fun with it, better than the other 4 cars i had. im a four door dude but the s2k is an exception. im looking into buying a CPO s2000 or a lexus IS from any dealer that has the color i want. im giving my brother the s2k as soon as i decide to get into a IS or another s2k.

the thing is that the IS im looking for is very hard to find. its a desert sage green which i think is very nice and it has to be IS350 or IS250 manual. i like four door cars because theyre just easier to get in and out as i am a 5'9" 180 pound dude. if i get the IS i will still be in a s2k but not that much. i really really want the IS but i dont think i can ever find a desert sage IS350 only IS250 there is a 100HP difference.

for the s2k i just want one for myself and not have to share with my bro. im fine having and 2 seater but everytime i get into my lexus GS300 i would have to rethink that. i think i would have a lot more fun in the s2k than if i got the IS, but what would be the best for the future?

the price is about the same in the 20-24k range but the IS has a lil bit more miles.

I don't get why people ask these kind of questions, they're completely different cars, if you like 4 doors and luxury get the lexus, if you want amazing handling the most fun car out there then get the S2000. If you want to talk about numbers the s2000 is faster then the is250 in every aspect.

 

I dont like the color of the IS and the S2k has lower miles...go with the s2k

If you know what you want out of your next car, this sould be an easy decision, considering they're two totally different types of vehicles.

Also, why point out your near average size, lol? You shouldn't have trouble getting in and out of either car.

 

Get the S2 and you and your brother could go on cruises together

 

i have both S2000 and IS250...i gave the IS250 to my sis but its still under my name so i can say that its mine

anyway i had it for a few months before my S2000. and it drives really nice... smooth but boring but if you are looking for practical car with a lot of room and comfort then IS is way to go

 

No comparison s2000 all the way !!!

 

U say u already have a gs..so why get an is as the "fun car"? Is is nice but I wouldn't buy one as the weekender.

 

The IS 250 is like a luxurious corolla. Its pretty boring to drive.
