hahaha...secret compartment, i had the car for a year before watching this video and coming to the realization that there was a secret compartment, and in there was the owners manual.

I just watched this.
Not to be racist, but after watching this video it makes me feel like 9/10 s2000 owners are asian

 

I mentioned this in the comments. We asked EVERYONE to come out. I got confirmations from a lot of folks, Asians and Haole's (white guys) alike. It turned out that for one reason or another none of the Haole's showed up. It was not a 'slight' on my part, if anything, they 'dissed' me by saying they were coming and then not showing.

 

I've owned my S2000 for 7 months and always thought I knew what the secret compartment was...

But then I read this, and just went outside.... wow....

 

So you can see why I devoted a whole section of the video to the Secret compartment.

 

^ user #8. Wow. How long did your AP1 last? Or did you have one originally?

 

I got our first one (Silverstone) in Sept of 1999. We followed it up with a 2001 (Spa). When these two leases were done we replaced them with a 2004 (Suzuka for my wife) and a Sebring for me. So we ran 'his and hers' S2000s for about 8 years. The most mileage was on the Silverstone at about 60K, most of the others were less when we turned them in.

 

Ah nice. Nice his/hers cars to have!!
Anyone the most known mileage for an S2000 so far? Just reached over 100k today!! No mechanical issues at all since I have had it. (bought at 69k)
