ok i just bought the black chrome kit for my s2k. i had no probs, installed the front and back, but im having trouble placing the s2000 logo on the side of the car cause i have already removed the original ones a long time ago... so can anyone post me a pic of the s2000 logo on their car so i can get some kind of a template for placing my logo on. i want to get it as close as possible to how it was before.

Do something trick, stick them on over or under the side marker.

If you're looking for a good pic, go to the thread in Groupbuys, where Rick Hesel did a groupbuy for sidemarkers. There's a good pic of the sidemarker and the location of the emblem.

 

The Helm manual also has measurement references as to placement. May be more accurate than "eyeball" estimate.

 

I would put them where they were intended to be. If you put them somewhere else it makes the car look as though its been repaired and the bodyshop didn't know where to put the emblems.

 

I can't find an exact location in any of the manuals

 

After I get home this weekend I'll let you know where I found it in manual; I had to replace mine after the painter messed up the logo placement and was noticeable to me. Redoing it was a hassle but worth it; did it myself.
