I was planning on doing a write up on the AutoArt and Maisto 1:18 scale models comparing them with pics. I will post it soon.

MMP Ltd and EBBRO are one and the same.

dlq04 - GREAT thread! I'm subscribing to this one for sure. I recently found out about the Ebbro 1:43 models and am interested in finding one. They include the soft top "up" option, don't they? That would make a unique addition to our collection, since the only only other version we have with the top up are the Mattel(Tyco) Canned Heat R/C and the Microsizers.

Anyone know of a good fair-priced source for the TAMIYA 1:24 US model or the Ebbro's?

Me too! I have around 75 1:18 scale cars, I estimate 2/3 came from ebay. I've bought cars from Canada, Brazil, and have an Opel Astra DTM race car in transit from Hong Kong right now.

This is a store that's about 1-1/2 hours away for me. They do a great mail order business but I like to visit it in person. Not much in the way of S2000s but their other offerings are great.

And that very same GPW model has been sitting on my shelf since you awarded it to me at the Larry Hopkins meet several years ago. Thanks.
