Default S2000 mud flaps?

I used the search function and came across a lot of old threads back in 2001 and 2002 with aftermarket mud flaps from pepboy's and autozone. Seeing we are in 2006 does Honda make oem mud flaps or is aftermarket all we got?

Don't use the universal Autozone mudflaps shown in those old posts. I made the mistake of putting them on my S and they have rubbed the paint off of the fender. I have more damage now than if I had just left it alone and let the rocks do their thing!

When we got our '03 last month it came with a bag (unopened by the previous owner) that had the front license plate bracket and 4 rubbery things that I assumed were mud flaps. If Honda doesn't make mud flaps, any idea what these things were?

They were probably your "strakes". They are an aerodynamic feature of the car. I think they help prevent wind from trying to lift your tires off the road at higher speeds.
