Default Is The S2000 The Oldest Car In America?

I was just thinking and I can't think of one car that has not had a FULL REDESIGN since 2000 other than the S2000.

Is it me or is the S2000 the current title holder for the car without a full redesign?

And the Mercedes G500 doesn't count because it wasn't sold in America until recently.

Ya, I think the NSX was unchanged for 10-11 years.. And the only change they did really was the headlights and some body panels..

Production stopped in 05, so it can't be the current title holder. If you look at amount of time without a full redesign, then NSX is ahead of the S.

I think the Ford Ranger is pretty ancient, same with the Crown Vic.

I was talking about current. The NSX doesn't count because production ended in 2005.

The Ford Ranger was recently redesigned.

There are no current Porsche's that date back past 2003.

The Wrangler just had a redesign, the Grand Cherokee has had two redesigns since 1999. The other Jeep products are all new pieces of junk.

The Crown Vic is no longer in production.

AM General Hummer (aka H1) - 1984. Civilian version since 1992. After that one would have to be the Ford Ranger/ Crown Vic which haven't changed since 1998.
