Default S2000 Original Keys?

Hello Everyone, just looking to find some information on the S2000 keys that originally came with the car. When purchased new, did the AP2 come with two of the silver-trim "S2000" keys in the photo below, or just one? Kind of an oddball question, but just curious.

Thanks in advance!

I bought my car used, and the owner gave me two main keys and one valet key...

I believe it came with 1 sliver key 1 sort of generic black key and a grey valet key. The silver key is some thing like $150 new from Honda which is why u think they only have one of those.

Double check in your owner's manual since your year may be different (unlikely, but possible), but mine (page 60 -- 2007 model) says it came with two black master keys, one grey valet, and one key number tag. Tag is used in case you need to order replacements. The image in the manual shows one master has the silver trim while the second does not. However, I'm pretty sure -- not 100% -- both my master keys have silver trim. I'll check when I'm home since I don't have them with me.

It depends on AP2v1 or AP2v2.

The key shown is an 'H' key so IIRC, it's an AP2v2, so there should have been two of them. I have a AP2v1 ('04) so I have a generic black regular key, and my keys are 'F' keys.

Thanks for this info! I have the same setup. One silver "S2000" key, one black key with the "H" emblem, a grey valet key, two FOBs, and the key ID tag. All is well- just wanted to make sure that I had all the original keys.

This is interesting, I have an 04 as well and no silver key. Just two black generic Honda keys. Should I have a silver key?

Yeah, you should've had a grey key, which is for valet. only opens doors and starts car. can't open trunk or glove box with it.

I also have one "S2000 silver" key, black generic key, and a valet key.
