Default s2000 owners described in one word: Classy

Hey, My names Brandon and recently I have been looking for a car. I got a lot of owner input from this forum and enjoyed talking with some of you and reading up on ur mods and kills Well after all of this I was pumped to get an S2K, but started thinking practically, and decided for me, a 19 year old college kid, a Mr2 spyder was a lil more practical. Cost, plus how sadening would it be to have a the car get trashed on a college parking lot

Well here's my point: MR2 owners BLOW!

I went to SpyderChat.com and was so dissapointed after spending a week with you guys. First of all they are all idiots...."My Mr2 ways less than the s2000....therefore I can smoke all of em" ~Moron

Then I went to thier aftermarket forum....OH GOD!

No one knows what they are talking bout, no one posts pictures and the most advanced thing I think I saw on the page was someone installed a short shifter...WOOHOO

Well, I think for me I will have fun with the spyder, grant it it isn't half of the S200, but ya know my time will come!

I kinda wish I was in a position to get an S200 for the sake of talking with guys on a more compatiable level, but I can tell ya this much...You wont see me on Spyderchat.com anymore....

Gee, perhaps this isn't a credit to the S2000 site anymore than the folks saying that the S2000 would be eaten by the MR2 was?

Enjoy your MR2, Irish, and we'll see you when you graduate!

MR2 looks very cool; just make sure there's room for your golf clubs. It has a very nice rear grill which is good for cooking hotdogs. In this regard, the MR2 is substantially more practical than the S2000. However, it does lack interior storage space - it has even less than the S2000 in which you can barely find a place for a toothbrush. The MR2 handles beautifully, is quick and to my eye looks a bit related to the Porsche 914-916. Anyway, good luck at school, and enjoy your MR2.

Point taken...But as far as practical..I was talking bout the 10K+ that separates em and the fact I'm 19 and probly shouldn't be driving a 40 thousand dollar car, and let alone park in a the ghetto!

I can here Eric Cartmen singing "In the Ghettooooo" right now

Believe me if you stretch yourself too thin on a car, you won't enjoy it. You're young and will own plenty of cars in your life. take it step by step. If and when You get an S2K it will only be all that more sweeter

Best of luck!

Mike
