Default S2000 Performance CHIP

Has anyone done any mods with their computer in the car by adding a different chip to it? What difference does it make if any? How about the I.A.T. sensor? Has anyone tried adding anything to that? And what about putting a cooler thermastat in the car, will that improve anything?

One more question and then i'm done---- Does the tirerack have the best prices for the S O3's----Any imput would be good --Thanks--

The "chip" in this car is not replaceable. You have to get a whole new aftermarket computer or add a VAF-C or some other "piggy back" unit to do any tuning.
There have been reported someone on eBay selling these little resisters that changes what the IAT sees. It's widely reported this is not a good way to do things. You are better off going with a Hondata intake insulating gasket and "really" keeping the intake cooler rather than making the ECU think it's cooler.
A cooler thermostat and higher pressure rad cap have been done on several cars but if you don't track the car or live in a hot place like Arizona, you won't really see any benefits in daily driving. These things help the car when it is stressed.
TireRack has some very low prices but as for whether or not they have THE lowest prices, you'll need to do some comparison shopping to know for sure.
